Sermon of the Day: God Demonstrates His Love For Us

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Men this morning I wanted to share one of my favorite verses with you. This chapter was in my reading the other day, but this verse has been an anchor for me in the past. I hope that it will be an awesome reminder for some of you. Or I hope this will be a new anchor of truth for you to plant in your heart.

Especially in light of our brother Yurik, and what he is going through. I felt this would be an amazing time of encouragement with a scripture like this. For what he is going through, but also what you are going through.

Men if we are honest with ourselves we all have fear. I know a few tough guys who really don’t want anyone to think that or know that. But men the sooner we can acknowledge and admit our fears, the sooner we can look to an all-knowing, all-powerful God and say ‘I Need You’!

No matter what obstacles or hurdles come your way, Isaiah encourages us here to not be dismayed or discouraged. God is so faithful to His word.

Matthew 5:18

 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

This is an amazing scripture to break down and learn more about, but in brief; the jot and tittle were basically a small Hebrew alphabet and a font marking in the Hebrew language. Even these smallest details throughout God’s word will come to pass. How much more your life, and your salvation?

Reading God’s word is so powerful men. The more we read it, the more we become to know the God of the universe and His intimate, personal and life breathing plans for your life. I felt this following passage was an amazing description of God that illustrates how He truly is our helper and more than capable to uphold you with His righteous right hand.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
