Wise Hearts, and Right Lips

Proverbs 23:15-16

¹⁵ My son, if your heart is wise,
    then my heart will be glad indeed;
¹⁶ my inmost being will rejoice
    when your lips speak what is right.

This verse spoke to my heart this morning!

What an amazing place to be in our relationship with God…where the decisions and choices we make, are pleasing to the heart of God Almighty!!

How amazing to think that we have the opportunity to make the inmost being of GOD, rejoice! This is difficult, because many times we don’t think before we speak, or we speak out of our feelings and emotions. But oh how blessed are we, when we learn to speak what is right, and make decisions from hearts of wisdom!
