God’s Only Design for Marriage : Demonic Attack

November 9, 2013

Get caught up with the Intro to God’s Only Design for Marriage.

Genesis 2:18 NLT

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

For those of you that are offended by a biblical definition of marriage I encourage you to try really hard to read this with a soft and understanding heart. Your beliefs do not upset me, they are just your beliefs. Here at I Challenge You we just want to equip those that do not know how to stand up for their beliefs correctly. This is not about personal opinion or thought, but based completely on the Holy, Precious, Infallible Word of God.

Get caught up with the Intro to God’s Only Design for Marriage.

There is a demonic attack on marriage today. It is completely evil in nature, and the devil is behind it 100% and laughing at the multitudes that are being deceived into thinking that marriage is about rights, feelings, or a State bringing in more revenue.

It is so much bigger than that! Marriage between a man and a woman is under this heavy attack because it represents the relationship God has with us, His Church, or His Bride. Look at what the Apostle Paul says:

For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband—Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2 NLT

Many times throughout scripture there are references, some directly and some indirectly about the marriage to come when God gathers His Church, or All Believers that profess Jesus Christ as Lord over their lives. We the Church represent the perfect union that God has designed for us to be  a part of.

If you are a professing Christian you cannot fall for this deception. Man has no right to make up his own rules. God is the Creator of all things, including marriage. Therefore what God has joined together, let us not tamper with.

This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Genesis 2:24 NLT

The wording of these homosexual marriage rights can make you start second guessing yourself. All the talk of marriage equality, and letting people follow their heart and all that, can honestly make you wonder where your stance should be. But, remember it has to be about God, nothing else. It is about the direct attack on God’s Bride, and to lure people even farther away from the God that created them and desires all men to repent and be saved.

Without repentance, this is what the Bible has to say:

26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Romans 1:26-27

This is not to pick on those stuck in this type of lifestyle. This is also not to say that homosexuality is worse than sex before marriage, or any other sin. All Sin is wrong in God’s Eyes. However this series is to equip those of you that are stuck on the fence, not knowing how to defend your faith or how to act against this very intolerant, demonic, and violent  movement.

So although homosexuality is a sin, we must remember that God calls us as Christians to show that we are His disciples by the way we Love. So hate the sin, not the sinner. Lets get equipped in this fight, not just to stand up for our faith, but for those of you that have homosexual friends we can be a part in God delivering them from their sin and teach them about the Grace of God that wants all men to repent, and be saved.

Stay Tuned…

I agree 100%. It comes down to whether or not you believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God and absolute truth. The Word of God is clear and unambiguous on this issue. There is no room for interpretation. This issue is a hot button issue and a lot of times we let our fleshly emotions take over and get the best of us when discussing this issue with others who might disagree with us. The key is love and I agree we should show the love of Christ through our discussions. Hate the sin, love the sinner. I love that.

    • Amen brother thank you for sharing. The devil is already working through this movement;as you said, we should not allow our emotions to take over, then we become a part in this destruction.

Yeah, its such a simple way to see the truth in how we should love.
