Its All About JESUS

August 5, 2013

John 6:35

Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Jesus is all we Need! Jesus is the only thing that fully satisfies. I have experienced this first hand, and I know many others that have too. My physical hunger happens every few hours, my body is never content, my body is always desiring more, desiring better flavors and so on. But in Jesus He is all I want and need, I don’t need to add to Him in any way. His Words, His life and His Promises are so satisfying that I am neither thirsty or hungry for a bigger, better God. HE IS the One True God.

The name and earthly ministry of Jesus is hands down the most controversial subject ever. For two thousand plus years no one-person (slash God) has brought on more controversy then Jesus Christ the Messiah and Savior of the World.

If Jesus was a hoax, would He really have been able to stir up two thousand years of controversy? Would the mention of His name today in various circles create so much hate and disgust? Jesus said it Himself that He is the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. Jesus also says the He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus also says that He is the Son of Man, that He is God and that heaven is His throne and earth is  a footstool for Him.

Jesus turned water into wine. Jesus made the blind see. Jesus healed the severely sick and ill. Jesus raised the dead to life, several times. Jesus prophesied His own death, torture and Resurrection. Jesus willingly laid down His life as the sacrifice to cover the sins of the World.

Friends there is no logical way to deny Jesus. There is no way to deny His witness and testimony. The miracles are endless, the eye-witness testimony is backed by scripture upon scripture. God says just believe in His Son, believe that He died on the cross for your sins, and that He rose from the dead, and you will be saved!

To deny Christ is willing rebellion against the God that created you.

Whether you want to believe it or not, All will go face to face with the LORD. We will all have to give an account for our lives and how we lived. Friends, I urge you: Be on the forgiven side of that encounter.

For those of you that do believe, be on the productive side of that transaction. Many will hear depart from me, I never knew you. So to avoid that we need to live in a way that unquestionably, unshakably and undoubtedly you will hear the LORD tell you well done good and faithful servant.

If you whole-heatedly seek the Lord you will find Him. If you are feeling dry and unworthy seek Him with all your heart. Make Him the priority of everyday until you truly find the bread of life that satisfies above all things.

Death is a reality for us all. Heaven and Hell will be the final destination. Where will you go?

Live with purpose. Live to Glorify God. And Live for Eternal and Heavenly Treasures that cannot be destroyed or rot.

(Due to time restraints there are no scripture references. But Google any of these sentences for exact location of Bible Verses and be encouraged and edified.)

I saw a bumper sticker this week that said “No Jesus No Peace, Know Jesus Know Peace.” It was a cool little reminder that everything we ever need in life can be found in our Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him in our lives we will be tossed to and fro by the stresses of life and without Him as our Rock, our Foundation, our lives will not be complete.
