Todays Daily Reading!

God Bless you on your Journey towards Christ. Go to www.i-challengeyou.com for more Info.

Matthew 1:

the breakdown of the genealogy is amazing. How God chose to separate each section of generations by fourteen each time. God is truly in control of all things!

24 – this is the first of several very obedient acts on the part of Joseph. His obedience is very inspiring to me, He had a very important task to fulfill, not because God needed help, but so his story could be taught to strengthen others.

Matthew 2:

Josephs obedience was amazing. Especially when you try to think deeply about how he really didn’t have to. Jesus was going to be fine no matter what, but when God chooses us for our own special assignment we must know that we are fully capable and should never allow the devil to fill us with doubt.

Matthew 3:

I love John the Baptist’s message. Repent of your sins and turn to God. So simple and to the point. Today it’s very different.

Matthew 4:

1-11 – These verse are packed with tons of wisdom, knowledge, teaching and insight into satans tricks and Jesus tools to overcome the devil. The Holy Spirit has impressed upon my heart that the three temptations of Jesus are a progression of increasing power the devil uses against us. New, baby christians will be tempted with our pride. We will get challenged, and tested to see if we will allow our pride to kick in. Growing christians get tested by the devil twisting the Word of God. But as we grow in our knowledge and understanding of Gods Word, we are able to be victorious like Jesus. And lastly as mature christians that live according to scripture, everything you do is blessed and successful. The devil will now try to bribe us with greater works if we allow him.

The devil is very shrewd and caniving, things will not always be clear and obvious of his evil workings. Thats why we must constantly grow in the word, and test everything against scripture and bathe everything in prayer. Constantly.
