Job 23,24:

23:10-12 – Blameless living at it’s best. God give us all the strength to be able to not only say these words but to truly live by these words.

24:23-24 – False Security of the wicked.

Mark 11:

1-6 – We shouldnt ask why. Jesus said. Thats why. These two men had complete obedience, and as always (maybe not as quickly and clearly) God’s Words never fail!

25 – Very important to pray with Holy Hands, maintaining Purity of Heart.

27-33 – When I read about Jesus I really try to analyze His responses to His enemies, or those trying to disprove Him. In this passage He seems to use discernment, knowing their question was a trap. Jesus does not fall into it, or throw pearls to swine. Jesus uses questions to answer questions. I know we are not Jesus, and we don’t have His wisdom, but there really seems to be power in answering a trap type question with another question to bring out truth. Or stop the spread of false assumptions.

Mark 12:

12 – It’s amazing how truth can really bring out the ugly in people.

18-27 – I learned that this passage was a two-fold question. Questioning the obvious of divorce but also the resurrection of the dead.

33b – With everything we do we should always assess to make sure what we do is a heart thing filled with love, not a religion thing filled with “I gotta do this or else”.

34 – I thought this verse was very interesting. Jesus tells the man ” you are not far from the Kingdom of God”. Does that mean He knows the truth, but He still has to live it out? That makes sense to me. So if that is true, is it ok to just believe and not live it? The sad thing is there are to many people who will say yes.

41-44 – Do you give by faith or by comfort?
