Job 19:
25-27 – So cool and amazing to see that through all these trials, challenges and tremendous adversity; Job still sees God as His redeemer. Job knows beyond any circumstance that God is the Great I AM, and that He does not necessarily have to understand why. Im sure he would like to know, yet He still just keeps faithful to God’s love and greater purpose. What a testament of Bold Faith!
Mark 1:
5-6 – this verse stood out to me. What prepared the people for this type of Revival? Obviously God, only God can draw a dying spiritual climate and draw them back to Him. But it makes me think of how we may have John’s around us but maybe are not stepping into the call God has for them. God wants revival, not that God is powerless without us, but He wants us to step up and be His instruments to bring Him glory, honor and praise throughout the earth.
34 – I love how Jesus did not allow them to speak. These demons are very powerful, and should not be messed with in any way. But Jesus is Lord of All! King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and through Him we have the power to be set free of the bondage and damage these demons can inflict.
45b – This last part of this verse is so cool. Do we search for Jesus in this way? No matter how far Jesus may seem in our lives, are we searching for Him? Jesus doesn’t choose to avoid us, He is there we just need to seek Him. We need Him, He doesn’t need us.
Mark 2:
4-5 – I LOVE this Faith. So amazing. We could talk all day about this faith. But what it comes down to is believing in Jesus’ power above any opposition or negativity.
8-9 – Jesus knows all hearts. We must purify our hearts. As sinful creatures the things that are felt and thought of in there, are not pleasing to Him. We must seek to have hearts that are pleasing to our Lord and Savior.
15 – I love this verse. Jesus seeks the Lost. So if you think that you have too much baggage, too much sin, you blew it way to many times; but you want change. I got good news for you…You meet the criteria! Praise God for His unfailing love that allows forgiveness of ALL our sins by His blood!
18-28 – Fasting and the Sabbath. Two subject that are not taught enough. Not encouraged enough. We need to fast and pray more as a culture. We need to get back to honoring the Sabbath also. This day seems to be used as the catch-all day, because we have become so busy with life. So catch up on Sunday. Jesus is Lord over the Sabbath, and we must honor Him with that.
