Ezra 5,6:

Chapter 4 described how the opposition of God, and the temple were successful. But in verse 7 God triumphs. As I was writing this I was about to say that who knows why God would allow opposition to succeed initially, then in chapter 7 opposition is suppressed. But God spoke to my heart as I re-read 7:14. God was able to move through several generations of Godless kings. Kings that if it were not for the opposition against the jews and Israel, they may have never thought twice about honoring God Almighty. God is always so much bigger and more awesome than we could ever imagine. Praise God and all Glory to Him!

Psalm 138:

This was an awesome, power-packed Psalm. Verses 1-5 have several reasons why God is so worthy and deserving of all our Praise.

Verse 6 shows there is no distinction between prideful men. Beliver and non-believer alike can have their downfalls. So we know, even our own pride will separate us from the Love of God. We must stay humble, or repent when we stray.

7-8 – shows that we must trust in His faithfulness and deliverance. God always knows whats best even though we may not see it right away.

Luke 16:
