Todays Daily Reading!

God Bless you on your Journey towards Christ. Go to for more Info.

I have not been able to make time for the Daily Bread’s in some time now. I really miss it, and am trying harder each day to make time. Please pray for me that I will manage my time better, and be able to resist my flesh in wanting more sleep. Thank You and God Bless all of you!

Ezra 4:

1-5 – At first glance I didnt understand why the leaders of Israel would deny this help. But then I was educated to see that these men were deceitfully offering their services. Yes they did pay tribute to God, but they also worshiped and held on to pagan idols and gods. Zerubbabel and the other leaders took a stand for righteousness. They would not compromise their faith, and obedience to the commands of God in order to keep peace. This message is so important for us today, because the devil is using the ‘peace’ message as a great deceiving tool. Peace with compromise is false security. We must only follow the Word of God and never compromise against it. If we do, we are opening the floodgates of deception and this will lead to a continuous slide away from God Almighty until we repent and stand up for righteousness.

The rest of this chapter shows how the devil will never, ever stop fighting against God’s people. But it doesn’t matter, we are with Christ and therefore on the winning team. We must not compromise, and stay faithful and blameless in everything we do.

Psalm 113, 127:

113- All Praise must be to the Lord. The language of old was so creative, diverse and powerful in how they Praised God for all that He is.

127:1-2 : These verses are so powerful to me. God must be the foundation of everything we are and invest in.

3-4: I think of these verse with how I raise my children. When we raise them with strong Godly character and morals, they will become a powerful force against the devil. They will be trained to carry out a legacy that we have passed on to them, in order to glorify God in everything they do. Accomplishing our purpose here on earth.
