Lamentations 3:

This was truly an amazing chapter. Verses 1-20 speak of Jeremiah’s struggles that were far greater than any I have ever experienced. Yet in my sorrows, I may be frustrated with God, maybe mad at God and sometimes in the past I have turned from God. But Jeremiah through all this continues with joyous faithfulness. Knowing that God’s mercies never stop, His faithfulness and love never end. Verse 31-33 is a powerful verse that I am committed to never forgetting and I pray all of us will teach and proclaim this verse. We need to believe with all our hearts in this promise from God. No matter how ugly, or how bad a situation may seem; God will rescue us, we must stay faithful.

37-42 – is a good gut check. We gotta remember that we are nothing. We gotta remember that we have nothing to be proud of according to human standards. In order to attain this we must truly be honest with the examination of our self. No one is good but God. Thats what Jesus said!

58-59 – We need to trust God to make things right. Our society is the opposite. We have been taught to fight for your right, to be opinionated and speak your mind because it is your right. Well if it doesn’t bring God glory what are you really accomplishing?

Lamentations 4,5:

4- This chapter gives detail on the heavy blows of God’s wrath. I really feel for those people who will have to experience God’s wrath during the ending of the tribulation. May God’s grace be upon them to turn to Him for strength and joy.

5:7 – This verse stuck out to me, cause although everyone is responsible for their own actions, we are also responsible for what type of legacy we leave to our kids and the people around us.

19-22 – We need to keep seeking God, Because He is always there for us. We must not allow our simple ignorant brains to determine how God should or should not respond to us.          We need Faith.

Revelation 15:

What an amazing privilege John had to experience these visions. I just listened to a sermon this morning that was talking about that. How we may desire to receive revelation from God, but we don’t get it. What this pastor explained and pointed out stemmed from Revelation 1:2-3. John faithfully reported everything he saw, God also blesses those that read this prophecy out loud, those who listen to this message and those who obey it. John did all this, God knew that he would and that is why he was chosen for this task. We have to be in the same relationship with God. That the Father not only knows us intimately, but that Almighty Father will know that we will record and proclaim His message. We don’t receive revelation for our own well-being and comfort. We receive it to proclaim it, so that others will be edified and many more will be saved.
