Ezekiel 22,23,24:

22:30 – I know God still seeks for those of us that will stand in the gap, building up righteousness in an unrighteous society.

23 – Lusting or coveting after other things that men, cities, or areas posses is an adulterous act against our God. By doing this we turn from Him and pursue worldly treasures and passions. Jesus said in Matthew 22:37 “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” Anything less than this is adultery to God.

24:15-19 – Amazing whole-hearted devotion with awesome trust and faith in God’s bigger picture and deliverance. Ezekiel was definitely kingdom minded, rather than worldly minded.

24:20-24 – The sins that were committed in and around God’s Holy Temple were devastating to Him.

Revelation 9:

Reading in Revelation has been amazing. I’ve had to catch myself continuing into the next chapter a couple of times. There is so much here, I really wish I had more time to study and learn this great book. Verse 4-5 gives a pretty intense description of the fifth trumpet. The intensity and difficulty of the end times is incredible. I really would not want to be living during this time. May God bless and strengthen all those that will have to endure through this time period.

7-11: give an illustration of these terrifying creatures. Demonic and evil in everything they do and represent. But what is so awesome is how as evil as these creatures are, they follow direct commands from God. God is so Good and amazing!

14-15: This passage is heavy, to think of these four powerful demonic beings that have been chained and bound for thousands of years waiting for this moment of destruction. Whats even more heavy is how many times these angels are mentioned throughout the Bible. Because these chapters are so deep I always try to research a little bit about each. One sermon I found listed several verses that mentioned these four angels. Jude 6 is one place where these angels are mentioned. God is so amazing how the Bible always ties in past, present and future. So incredible.

16-19 – These are spiritual demonic beings that have been assigned to destroy.

20-21 – I don’t know exactly where but the Bible does say at one point the Spirit of God will be removed during the end times. These verses make me wonder if this type of refusal to repent during such a crazy time reveals the absence of the Spirit of God.
