Jeremiah 18,19,20:

18:3 – We must have this type of obedience. Jeremiah did not question, reason or justify not doing it. He obeyed. Verse 4 made me ask myself, and I need to always ask myself: Is my life shaping out to what God desires for me? And I really need to be honest with this, or else whats the point.

18:11 – no matter what we have done God just desires true repentance and we can be forgiven. That is truly amazing. Thank you Father for your grace, mercy and Love!

20:2 – Obedience, Boldness and Suffering go together. When we are obedient to God’s commands and desires for our lives it will take boldness. This will not fly with the world. The world doesn’t love God and therefore wants no part in it. We must be prepared to endure suffering in order for God to continue His work behind the scenes in order to continue to share and spread His gospel.

Psalm 93:

Being a surfer and a lover of the ocean I have experienced it in calm beauty, and also powerful fury. I have been humbled by the vastness and power of the ocean many times. But my God is far greater! I truly cannot fathom that power and I am in deep awe and respect for God and His great works!

John 17:

The prayer of Jesus! Wow, how awesome to know that the Savior of the World prayed for us long ago, and still continues to intercede to God the Father on our behalf. Everything that was asked in this prayer is as good as done. As this chapter clearly says, all authority has been given to our Saviour, and all that were chosen by the Father will never be lost or forgotten. But what is also very important for all of us, is Jesus’s prayer for unity amongst all of us. That seems to be a very hard things nowadays, everyone has their own opinion, and interpretation of everything. We all need to just get back to Jesus. Who He is. What He did. And we must follow this lead. Love covers over a multitude of sin. We need to stop nitpicking the small things, that’s God’s job. We were called to love, we were called to help the needy and less fortunate.
