Nibble of Bread : Jeremiah 3:12

August 9, 2012

Jeremiah 3:12

…”O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.”

Yesterday was about the evilness behind abandoning God Almighty. But! This chapter, highlighted in this verse shows how His love has no boundaries. How although God was done wrong He still wants all to be saved, and come into His love, mercy and grace. This love is not to be taken for granted, or abused. It is to be used for redemption, redemption that leads us out of a life that is not pleasing to Him, and into one that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father.

God truly is merciful. This same verse could be said of the United States. I love the intimacy in the fact the God is calling us “home.” A place where you feel safe, secure, loved and protected. Great verse.

    • Amen brotha, I have been trying to pray more for our nation that seems to be running farther and farther from our Lord.
