For those of you already following along, If you miss a day, don’t sweat it. But stay committed and watch God move in your life!

Isaiah 60:

Verses 19-21: The glory of God is so great, and it will be so great when we are in heaven with Him that there is no need for a sun. Simply, mind-blowing. I really can’t even imagine that, but I want to. Many times God says that the stars are going to fall out of the sky in the End. The sun is a star, which we will no longer need. As magnificent, powerful, bright and deadly as the sun is, God is just going to flick that thing into nowhere…WOW. God is so Cool!

Isaiah 61:

Verses 1-3 spoke to me that all though we all may have mourning in this life, when we stay faithful through our hardships, mournings and hard times God will be faithful in His promises to us in the next life.

Isaiah 62:

Verses 6-7 sound pretty upfront at first glance. Of course we know we all need to pray more. In fact the New Testament tells us to pray constantly, to never stop praying. For obvious reasons, there is so much that needs prayer in this world. This is in line with the end of verse 6, “Take no rest,…”. But what about verse 7, “Give the Lord no rest…”. Dont know about you guys but that’s a first for me. I’ve never heard that before. But it makes sense we have so much work to do as christians, which makes God have even more work to do. But that’s why we are all here. To lead people to Christ, get people saved so they can come into the saving grace of Jesus Christ. So keep praying, keep working for the Lord, because the more we work, the more God works!

John 1:

Verse 33 blows me away every time I read it. ” I didn’t know he was the one, …” Jesus in all His Glory, Power and Magnificence blended in with the pack. How often do we want to be noticed for something great, or even something good we do? How bout when our kids do something great, we want the world to know how awesome our kids are, right? Not our God. God the Father sent His son on a humble mission. Jesus, Savior of the World came as humble and unnoticed as possible. The only way John knew He was the Messiah was the Spirit descending upon Him. Let’s continue to learn to follow our role model. His Ways, need to be our ways!
