Isaiah 57-59:

Psalm 103:

Lots of powerful verses in this chapter but the one that stood out to me the most was verses 12-14. Recently a few guys have called me bummed out for some recent stumbles, wondering how can God keep forgiving me? Well these verses are to answer that question. Of course our heart, mind and soul must be trying to turn from these sins that trip us up. We also need to begin tapping into the grace of God that is supposed to actually keep us from sinning rather than covering over our sins. But when we do stumble, because we all do we need to meditate on verses of truth like this, rather than listen to the lies the devil is putting in our heads.

2 Peter 3:

Powerful little chapter! I was  just reading last night in a book that we must affirm God’s Word constantly (all of it, not just the soft and cudly parts). Verses 1-3 reminded me of this, and if you think about most of the last few books we have read they are doing that. These letters written were to the churches that already knew how to live and what they need to do. But the way we operate we need constant reminders of all the Glory, Grace and Love of God. I want to encourage those of you that are strong in your walk to affirm these things you are learning and expanding on with others around you. For those of you that are not strong right now I want to encourage you to keep seeking God, seeking His truths and power in His word. Feed yourself constantly. Always find ways to feed your spirit. With our technology now days this can be easily attained.

Verses 8-9 is a cool verse about how God is truly time. Thats whats so frustrating about our simple little brains. We don’t see things the way God does, but we try to. We try to force the God of the universe in a box and shape Him to our thinking. How wrong are we? We need to instead be more like Him, we must train our spirit to overpower the limitations of our brain so that we can learn to think like Him, act like Him a little more each day.
