Slice of Bread : Romans 5

May 24, 2012

New Trial: See Bulletin.

Romans 5:

Just in case you didnt realize in verse 2 it says that we have an undeserved privilege in Christ Jesus. We do not deserve the gift of eternal life, or the mercy and grace that we have available to us. We are all sinners, therefore worthy of death, and judgement. But because of the selfless act of Jesus, we still get it. Praise God for that. Something we need to remember with forgiveness of others, although they may not deserve it, God gave it to us!

Verses 12-21 are pretty unreal. What Christ did for us is immeasurable, His enormous act of love leads so many of us into the Fathers love, grace, mercy and righteousness. Just know that no matter what you were like, what you have done in your past Gods grace is greater. We give Satan power when we listen to those lies, that we are not good enough, that God cant forgive what you did, or that if people know you will be looked down upon. We take the power from Satan when we confess our sins, repent of our sins and follow Christ.

If you havent watched that video I posted a few days ago, watch it. See what Jesus did for you and me, Our forgiveness came at a price that we should never forget or take lightly!

Blessings and Love.

Aina

  1. Amen!Amen!Amen…that video got
Me😡and 💔my heart man!! Thanks for the explanation of that video and why things happened the way it did it help me
To appreciate Jesus more for that sacrifice and because of that I’m not so angry anymore about it.

    • Amen brotha, I’m glad I could help! As I said my whole point of that video was to show the reality of what He paid, so that we all can grow in deeper appreciation for Jesus and what He did!!

This is such an amazing chapter as it explains the grace of God and how it saved us through the death of His one and only son Jesus Christ. I love verse 1 as it clearly states that we are justified by faith. Praise be to God that we are justified by faith and not by our works as I am nothing but a sinner who needs the grace and mercy of God everyday. Verse 3 is very hard to live by. How can one glory or rejoice in tribulations!!! Trials and tribulations can test the very core of our faith in Jesus Christ. Nonetheless, tribulations bring about character and the molding and shaping of a person into God’s will. May we all seek the will of God in our lives. Verses 6-10 show what an awesome, gracious, merciful God we serve in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. AMEN, HALLELUJAH!!! Awesome video.

    • Yes, this chapter is mind blowing with the nuggets of Gold Paul has laid out for us!

Great feedback! That video is unreal ah! Praise God the Father and God the Son for the sacrifice! That something I just realized right now, although Jesus did suffer physically and does deserve all the praise, think about what the Father had to endure through that time…heavy!
